The Oklahoma fire marshal’s office is investigating a fire that claimed the lives of the Osage mayor and her father-in-law.
The fire at the home of Mayor Connie Reese occurred after her husband had left for work, according to KOTV.
It took firefighters about four hours to put out the fire that was so intense it shattered the glass at a neighbor’s house and melted blinds.
The blast residents heard was a propane tank, fire officials said.
The ATF also is involved in the probe.
